Sabato De Sarno, the new Creative Director of the Italian house, debuted loudly and for the whole world to see, the new signature ‘‘Gucci Red’’ color. In case you missed it, it is the luxurious, luscious, deep burgundy that we have been seeing all over Gucci’s Ads and social media platforms.
The Creative Director decided to show appreciation and respect to the masters of Italian design: Gae Aulenti, Mario Bellini, and Tobia Scarpa, he then reimagine five classic pieces of furniture in his signature ‘‘Gucci Red’’. Studio Prké’s favorite thing in Gucci’s space this year is the bulbous leather sofa reissued from a 1972 design by Bellini for Tacchini, in the signature Gucci burgundy of course.
You can visit Gucci’s Milan flagship on Via Montenapoleone, where De Sarno and his co-curator Michela Pelizzari and the Spanish architect Guillermo Santomà, adorned the walls with the standout hue from De Sarno’s debut collection: a vibrant chartreuse green, which contrast the classic Gucci Red so well that you simply cannot leave without being mesmerized.

If you are a French fashion brand, and you want to make your way to Milan Design Week for the first time, what would you do?
Saint Laurent knew exactly how to make its debut in the Fuorisalone 2024, by presenting Gio Ponti, Villa Planchart, curated by Anthony Vaccarello. The exhibition exclusively features reissued porcelain plates originally designed by Gio Ponti in the in 1957 for the Villa Planchart in Caracas, Venezuela. Gio Ponti was an Italian architect, industrial designer, furniture designer, teacher and writer, so you clearly cannot go any higher if you want to debut your presence in Milan Design Week!
Anthony Vacarello commissioned a captivating centerpiece with columns bearing Ponti inspired rhythmic patterns, while also announcing a partnership with Ginori 1735 for the reissuing of the plates to accompany the exhibition. Elegantly decorated and imbued with refined sensitivity, the plates were once integral to the multifaceted and romantic ambiance of Villa Planchart.
During Milan Design Week the limited-edition collection will be available for purchase by appointment at the Saint Laurent Milanese flagship on Via Montenapoleone, as well as on YSL.com.

Over a century ago, Ermenegildo Zegna initiated a reforestation effort in the Alps, not far from Biella, in Northern Italy, transforming the region into what is now known as Oasi Zegna. This vast project has seen the planting and nurturing of over 500,000 trees across approximately 100 square kilometers. The Italian fashion brand transformed its Via Savona headquarters into its own oasis, and your experience there will start by crossing a transportive tunnel, reaching a forest like setting made trees, tote bags from which you can choose your favorite and take home, as well as The book dedicated to land preservation, entitled Born in Oasi Zegna.
A second-floor terrace provided visitors with the opportunity to wander and contemplate, where they can also admire the view of a single tree in the middle of an open-air courtyard.
If that’s not inspiring enough, today, Zegna assumed stewardship of the flowerbeds at Milan's iconic Piazza Duomo for the next three years, all with flora evocative of Oasi Zegna.

Inspired by the vision of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to support young talent and showcase Italy's beauty, the second edition of Gen D, Designer Generation promises to be impactful. Curated by Federica Sala, eleven designers under 40 from diverse countries gathered at Via Broggi 19, Milan, to celebrate cultural diversity through design's universal language. Their unique backgrounds will weave a vibrant tapestry of styles and perspectives, transcending continents and traditions.
This year’s exhibition promotes 11 designers in total, from all over the world. Few brands are doing what D&G does for young talents and new designers, as it is not always easy to showcase one’s work as young creatives, and the Studio Prké team is working very hard to become one day pioneers and help in return young creatives showcase their talents as well in the world of Branding, Graphic Design, and Art Direction.

The gaze first captures the hanging lamps, then the table lamps, and finally, the floor lamps; you can then look out onto the large underground hall which, like an amusement park, is filled with colors, materials, shapes, lights: it is the exhibition of the twenty four Loewe Lamps, the most ambitious among the collections presented so far by the brand on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile. Loewe inaugurates this new project which focuses on interaction with light.
Through this initiative, Loewe reaffirms its dedication to the art of craftsmanship at FuoriSalone, showcasing a collection of household items such as ikebana vases, doorstops, and paperweights crafted from woven leather. These pieces are meticulously tailored through collaboration with the chosen artists and Fundación Loewe under the guidance of the brand’s Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson.

Hermès is one of those brands that simply can’t disappoint. the house introduced a blend of new designs and pieces inspired and taken from its heritage. And to showcase that Hermès pieces are timeless, the exhibition focused on the ambiguity between the present and the past.
If you are in Milan this year, you absolutely have to visit this exhibition and enjoy the journey to what the land of Hermès is all about, thank to the composition of raw materials such as, bricks, stones, slates, wood, compacted earth, resembling the design of a tunic. The iconic jockey's jacket, with its geometric and colorful motifs, symbolizes the Maison's rich cultural legacy, with its significant inspiration for leather goods and textiles.
To visit the Hermes space in the Brera Design District is also to take the time to reflect on the ability to harmonize the codes of a language rooted in the twentieth century with the needs of contemporary living and defining the concept of lifestyle in the modern days we live in.
Sometimes, in our studios, all the creative designers sit down and enjoying a good hour of inspiration, looking at Hermès brand application, video edits, and even their creative email marketing.
